The RC-1’s easy-to-read multicolor LED provides a wealth of information in a small space. It lights up brightly during recording, playback, and overdubbing, so your loop status is always clear. A circular indicator moves during operation, either in a continuous rotation to represent the entire loop length or a faster rotation that reflects subdivisions. This elegant display also serves as a handy visual aid to confirm stop, erase, and undo/redo actions, meaning you know exactly what’s going on every step of the way.

“The Boss RC-1 is our pick of the loopers on the market for anyone new to the world of looping. This incredibly user-friendly pedal is intuitive, cost-effective, and - with it being a Boss product - it's built to last.”

Music Radar

“Boss’s entry-level RC-1 is a triumph of simplicity: the top panel features just a single level control and a multi-segment loop indicator. Don’t be fooled; it’s a powerful tool so once you learn a few basic press, double-press and press-hold operations with the stomp switch you’re off into the world of seamless recording, looping and overdubbing.”

Guitar.com

“It’s the perfect looper pedal for anyone wanting something that’s reliable and sturdy to enter the world of looping or perhaps to aid their live acoustic guitar performances.”
